Cambridge Checkpoints ‘app’

education, Web 2.0

Found a great app today.

Cambridge are well-respected for their Checkpoint series for VCE subjects. Now, they have released an ‘app’ that has quizzes, flash cards and more to help VCE students to test themselves and revise the subject content.

You can launch the app on your PC or Mac, or Add to Home Screen on an iPad.

Click HERE to go straight to the app page.

Libraryhack

education, Web 2.0

Libraryhack is an opportunity for kids to get in volved in creating a mashup or app for State Libraries across Australia and NZ. Looks like it might be interesting way to push the boundaries of IT and Media in schools.
